Film Marketing Services From Producers' Rep. Jon Gursha Taps Top Talent And Emerging Filmmakers

The interactive producer's representation firm announces new project line-up

Producers' Rep. Jon Gursha sets out to establish his own credentials by creating a new company aiming to represent talented and emerging filmmakers in the international and national marketplace. With a line-up of new projects just in time for American Film Market, Gursha represents a new generation of producers' reps that hone in on emerging technologies to better serve tech-savvy filmmakers.

Gursha polished his skills as a producer's rep while working with Page Ostrow at Ostrow and Company Producers Representatives but began his trajectory in the entertainment industry at NBC while working on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Weakest Link and many other NBC shows after graduating from Emerson College. Since 2001, he has amassed valuable experience in film and television production while working in the advertising and marketing field.

His new company, Film Marketing Services "> works to handle all the contract negotiations for international and domestic distribution across all platforms. Building on Gursha's ad and marketing experience, the company sets out to build Internet campaigns to better align projects with buyers. The firm also arranges film financing for films in development and creates unique packages to make films attractive to international and domestic financing outlets.

Film Marketing Services has already garnered interest from cable networks for the dramatic film entitled, "CITY OF MOTHERLY LOVE," made by Philadelphia-based, award-winning filmmaker and actress Natalie Paige Bentley. Gursha will be repping the partnership deals for Bill Wade's SECRETS OF LOVE and Mark Tierney's Marylebone Films/Virtual Content of California four-picture slate to begin production in 2009.
