Summit Entertainment's The Twilight Saga: Eclipse Opens June 30 at The Henry Ford IMAX Theatre

On June 30, Twilight fans of all ages will be lining up to be among the first to sink their teeth into The Twilight Saga: Eclipse in IMAX when it opens at The Henry Ford IMAX Theatre. The highly anticipated third installment of The Twilight Saga and the event film of the summer will be digitally re-mastered into the unparalleled image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience® through proprietary IMAX DMR® technology. With crystal clear images, laser-aligned digital sound and maximized field of view, IMAX provides the world's most immersive movie experience. The Twilight Saga: Eclipse will debut in select IMAX theatres concurrently with the nationwide theatrical release on June 30, 2010.

The Twilight Saga - Eclipse: The IMAX Experience will be playing at The Henry Ford IMAX Theatre for a 16-day engagement only. Moviegoers can enjoy a special premiere Twilight Night in Michigan's largest IMAX Theatre complete with concessions, cappuccinos, and official Twilight Eclipse merchandise prize giveaways! A midnight showing on June 30 at 12:01 a.m. is sold out; however tickets are still available for the 2:30 a.m. showing. Doors open at 10:30 p.m. on June 29.

In the Twilight Saga: Eclipse, directed by David Slade from a screenplay written by Melissa Rosenberg and starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, Bella (Stewart) once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward (Pattinson) and her friendship with Jacob (Lautner) -- knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse will be distributed by Summit Entertainment. This film has been rated PG-13 for intense sequences of action and violence, and some sensuality.
