TicketLiquidator's Ticket of the Week: Jay Z Eminem Tickets

TicketLiquidator, the leading provider of the world's most extensive online inventory of hard-to-find, low-priced concert tickets, today announced that it now offers Jay Z Eminem tickets for their upcoming "Home & Home" tour at great prices. As one of the biggest pairings in hip hop history, the Jay Z Eminem tour will kick off on September 2, 2010 in Detroit, MI at Comerica Park.

The historic concerts will be held in the hometowns of both Jay Z, a New York native, and Eminem, a Detroit native. Initial dates for the co-headlining sets were September 2, 2010 in Detroit at Comerica Park and September 13, 2010 in New York at New Yankee Stadium. However, due to high demand for Jay Z tickets and Eminem tickets , more dates have been released. Additional Jay Z Eminem concerts will be held on September 3, 2010 at Comerica Park and September 14, 2010 at New Yankee Stadium.

"The popularity of these two rappers is unmatched in the industry -- this is truly one of the most exciting concerts of the decade," stated Alexandra Owens, Media Relations, TicketLiquidator. "Fans who missed out on the first pair of Jay Z Eminem dates now have a second chance to see the hottest hip hop show of the summer!"

Eminem, who has largely been out of the spotlight for quite some time, took a hiatus in 2005 after the Anger Management 3 tour with 50 Cent, his group D-12, Obie Trice, The Alchemist and 50 Cent. The rapper, actor and record producer has received eleven Grammy Awards since he burst onto the music scene with his first studio album "The Slim Shady LP" in 1999. Well known for including explicit content in his lyrics, this prolific hip hop artist has sold eighty million albums worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists of all time.

Jay Z completed a successful Jay Z tour last spring to promote his most recent release, "The Blueprint 3." The album debuted at number one and is his eleventh number one album to date breaking Elvis Presley's previous record. He has received ten Grammy Awards in his career and boasts an extensive list of entrepreneurial efforts including the ownership of the 40/40 Club, partial ownership of the New Jersey nets, former CEO of Def Jam Recordings and founder of Roc-A-Fella Records among others.

The two artists have recently collaborated with some big names in the music biz. Jay Z's collaboration with Alicia Keys on the "Empire State of Mind" track parked in the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for five consecutive weeks. The rapper also released a collaboration single, "Stranded (Haiti Mon Amour)," with Rihanna (tickets), U2's Bono and The Edge in June 2010. Eminem, who released his seventh studio album "Recovery" in June 2010, joined forces with fellow rap artist Drake (tickets) on the "Forever" track which received a nomination for Best Collaboration at the 2010 BET Awards. Likely to sell out in record time, Eminem Jay Z tickets are the TicketLiquidator Ticket of the Week.
