Domenic was once again on the cutting edge when he introduced a fifty page safety manual to the construction business in Rhode Island setting new standards for the industry.
"I immigrated to the United Sates in 1963," stated Domenic. "I saw the US as the land of opportunity and I worked hard during the daytime for many years while attending college at night."
"It was, in fact, the land of opportunity for me. I was able to obtain an MBA in Finance from Seton Hall University and go on to a successful career in finance and corporate management ever since."
"I love the USA and it has been very good to me, but I have seen many things deteriorate over the last couple of decades. That's why I am now exercising my right and duty to speak out about making some positive changes in American policies."

About Domenic Sgambellone:
Domenic Sgambellone was the middle child of three siblings raised in the Southern Calabria region of Italy. While securing his degree in secondary education, Domenic competed in track and field in addition to playing on his high school soccer team. He graduated among the top students in his high school. In 1963, Domenic immigrated on a permanent basis to the United States.
Upon arrival in the US, Domenic worked as a fulltime bookkeeper in the daytime and attended St. Peters College in Jersey City at night.
In 1969, even before graduation, Domenic began working as a chief accountant for US Industries. His wife, Alba, two children and Domenic's parents watched proudly in 1970 as he walked with his class to receive his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.
While furthering his college education, Domenic continued working in the daytime for US Industries and was awarded an MBA in Finance from Seton Hall University (South Orange, New Jersey) in 1974.
After his tenure at Seton Hall University, Domenic began working with Ferrero USA, Inc. where he was one of the company's pioneers.
First, in the 1970s, Ferrero revolutionized the mint business with the introduction of Tic Tacs. Second, Ferrero was the first company in history to list the "calories count per unit," a tradition later emulated by many other food products and still in use today.
Originally recruited because of his financial expertise and the fact that he was bilingual, Domenic became the liaison with the FDA for Ferrero. He supervised product labeling, testing and FDA compliance regulations.
In 1982, Domenic was recruited by a banker in New York City to help launch a jewelry company. After a few years of extremely successful business, the company was sold to the platinum magnate, Johnson-Matthey.
After a few years and still living in Barrington, RI, he began a consulting firm for small to medium size businesses. His reputation grew quickly as the man to call for business owners that wanted to "turn-around" their companies.
One consultation in particular ended up in full time employment when Domenic agreed to aid a financially unstable construction company. Within 6 years of hiring Domenic, the company became the largest construction firm in the state of Rhode Island.
Again, Domenic made pioneer type contributions when he was the first to introduce the concept of "self-insurance" to the construction industry, a program that forever revolutionized the way the industry operated in Rhode Island.
During that time, Dominic again revolutionized the construction business by writing a 50 page construction safety manual. He was asked by then RI Director of Labor to share the concept and the manual for the sake of other companies in the state.
One of the highlights of Domenic's career was an invitation to the White House by Leon Panetta, a Chief of Staff during the Clinton administration, and the man who is the current Director of the CIA.
Also, as a successful business executive, Domenic came to be in contact and worked with former Rhode Island Governor Phillip Noel and even took a business tour of Italy with Governor J. Joseph Garrahy.
Today, Domenic is a comptroller/CFO for a business which runs smoothly under his guidance.
In an insightful, provocative and bold manuscript, "The America of My Dreams: A Political Manifesto," Domenic has shared his vision of how to get America back on track.
