Taking the time to actually focus on strategies to fully engage communities was a gift to me and my work. The Harwood Institute provided tools and a framework to take my work and passion deeper.” –  JD Hoye former President Keep the Change,

The Harwood Public Innovators Lab is a learning experience aimed at empowering leaders in methods that make their work more meaningful. Harwood has conducted labs since 2007, using tools and peer learning to shape the way leaders work in their own organizations and communities. This new way of working guides people to create real, lasting and positive community change as well as grow the ranks of their volunteers, advocates and donors.

United Way’s mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities around the world to advance the common good. The Mary M. Gates Learning Center is a state of the art meeting and event space with full media support and Gold LEED Certified for high performance green buildings.

Rich Harwood and participants will be available for interviews upon request.
