IObit’s Driver Booster 3 features what the company calls a “gigantic upgraded database” to update device drivers with a single click, to ensure hardware devices use the latest software. Without this booster, the company says hardware can have outdated, missing, or faulty drivers and game components.
The key to the new tool’s functionality is a new large device database. Its job is to make decisions about the effectiveness – or otherwise – or how fast or slow driver and device updating is. The new database, stored online, now supports more than 200,000 drivers. The company says it even has rarely found data.
Rather than just being a driver replacement too, Driver Booster 3 also detects outdated missing and default drivers, helping to address problems that cause hardware issues.
The game components database is also expanded, helping to avoid splash screen and stuttered sound problems.
IObit made Driver Booster 3 significantly faster by downloading at system idle time. It also has an auto-backup feature to safeguard the Windows Operating System. If it detects an unexpected driver problem, the program can restore the previous copy through auto-backup to prevent a system failure.
“A lot of people thought problems related to PC drivers and devices belong to the professional field, it might be out of their control, so they will rely on the Windows Update,” said Antonio Zhang, Marketing Director at IObit. “To help our normal users maintain their PC by themselves, Driver Booster 3’s simplified operation, such as One-Click, helps our users to update drivers easily. Also, with the upgraded driver database, we believe Driver Booster 3 is the most suitable driver update tool for common users.”
Driver Booster 3 can be downloaded from IObit.com and Download.com. It supports operating systems from Vista through to Windows 10. – Win 10, 8/8.1, 7, XP and Vista.
