The Touro University Worldwide online MBA program is only a year old and already draws rave reviews from students.
“Our scholar-practitioner model, providing access to quality courses that address real business and professional situations is clearly hitting the mark with our TUW mid-career students.” – Dr. Gregory Zerovnik Director Business Programs Touro University
One example is current MBA student Corine Ganem, an administrative assistant at a college in France. Ganem recently completed an MBA Professional Communications course and said: “The Professional Communications course in the MBA program has helped me to write much better for business purposes. I have learned to keep it short and go right to the point in my emails. People understand what I want from my start and give me greater feedback,” Ganem explained.
“My skills in social media have also improved. Now, I am even able to write a blog! Thanks to the materials and the lively, constructive interaction with fellow students and my professor, I understand all of the do’s and don’ts in a practical way. From the start, I have been able to apply what I have learned in my daily life. The course has really made a difference,” Ganem said.
Touro University Worldwide is a division of the Touro College and University System. TUW began the MBA program by offering classes in late 2010. The MBA degree program offers five concentrations: Finance, Marketing, Strategy, Management, and Media & Communications. The program already has over thirty students enrolled.
The Touro College and University System was founded in 1970 in New York and has more than 19,000 students attending campuses around the world. The Touro system includes an ABA accredited law school, a nursing school, medical colleges offering D.O., and M.D. degrees and extensive graduate programs. TUW C.E.O. and Senior Provost, Dr. Bernard Luskin, notes that “TUW is a division of Touro University Los Angeles and is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The MBA program consists of 36 credits.”
Full cost of the degree at $ 500 per credit is approximately $ 18,000 for the entire MBA program. There are many special scholarships available for the first 100 students in the program. TUW degrees compare very favorably with both public and private university programs.
